James, I loved reading your review of The Sandlot! This was a childhood favorite growing up. You have inspired me to watch it for the first time in too long and I can’t wait! It’s the perfectly nostalgic summer film. 🫶🏾☀️⚾️

Such a fun review! This movie jus screams summer, especially the fireworks scene. What a way to “say hey” to a legend, too. ⚾️

I mentioned that Fourth of July baseball fireworks scene set to Ray Charles in the review, but I forgot to include this link to when he performed it live at the 2001 World Series. It was only a month or so on from 9/11, and a pretty special performance. When I saw this clip for the first time, it immediately made me think of the movie.
