I agree that the movie has serious structural flaws and tries to cover too much ground awkwardly. The only memorable part is the last scene, part of which was taken from LG’s farewell speech at Yankee Stadium
Alamo Drafthouse’s whole selling point is that everyone has to be quiet and keep their phones off or else they’ll kick you out—and they’ll do it, too. If you’ve got one of those nearby, that’s my recommendation.
Thank you for the shout out. Much appreciated. I really enjoy Balls on Film, and I'm looking forward to the Clubhouse.
Thanks, Liam! Always enjoy your work too.
Gimme some Friday Night Lights goodness James! I love that film and I love the series even more.

Hey Beth’s Dad 👋🏻 Seems like we’re on the same page with this one. The performances definitely help a very clunky-paced film for sure.

Sadly they don’t operate in the U.K. I’d gladly pay extra to go to a cinema chain here that had the same policy.
Oh no! I’m sorry for making a suggestion that isn’t available to you. Best wishes finding a civilized theater.
No problem at all 😊 I do enjoy the Drafthouse. Have been before in the US several times. Wish it was here!
Sir! Thank you so much for the "Forks" love. Your kind words mean so much.
I cannot WAIT for The Clubhouse! My husband is a massive TED LASSO fan, so we'll definitely be rewatching with you.
Yes! Have you never seen it?
I have seen it, but it’s been a while. TED LASSO was of my all-time favorite TV binges!
